I am working with an established Digitial/IT business based in the East Midlands who are looking for a HR Assistant on a fixed-term basis to support the team into 2025.
The role will report into the HR Business Partner but will support the wider team.
This is a fast-paced role, there will be plenty to get stuck into!
- Full-time, 6-month FTC (potential to become permanent)
- Hybrid working, a few days a week in their main office with occasional travel to other offices

- Provide admin support across HR, L&D and general office support
- Helping with process changes and improvements
- Manage the employee lifecycle; onboarding, offboarding and changes
- Carry out all pre-employment checks
- Managing and organising DEI and HR calendars
- Sending regular comms and summaries of updates to all employees
- Set up/check compliance training has been carried out
- Various other responsibilities including general office admin tasks
- Able to use your initiative, takes the time to do tasks thoroughly and to a high standard
- A good communicator, able to effectively communicate across all seniority levels
- Ability to prioritise workload and most urgent tasks
- Computer literate and proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, with ability to learn new systems quickly
- An understanding of SharePoint would be beneficial but not essential
- Basic understanding of HR processes, ideally with experience of working with a generalist team
- Basic understanding of employment law
- Ideally you will be CIPD level 3 qualified (this is not essential)
